SMART & SUN TRIO 20: First Smart-Sun-TNT Call and Text Offer

After much adieu, finally, we’re starting to see the results of the Smart-Sun merger. And this is only the beginning. Capitalizing on PLDT’s partnership with ‘unli’ services leader Sun Cellular (Sun), wholly-owned subsidiary Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) recently launched Trio 20—the first value for money call and text package available to Smart, Sun and TNT subscribers.
Actually, Trio 20 is the second service which has been introduced following the PLDT-Sun merger.
At only Php 20, Smart, Sun, and TNT prepaid subscribers can send 200 texts and make 15 minutes of calls to over 65 million mobile users in the country for an entire day simply by texting “Trio20” to 2477.

In December 2011, the conglomerate introduced the SmartSun Dual Plan 549 postpaid offering which comes with unlimited Smart-to-Smart and Sun-to-Sun text messaging, 6 hours* (*2 hours Smart-to-Smart, 4 hours Sun-to-Sun) of free voice calls, and a Nokia C2-03 dual SIM smartphone.
“…both Trio 20 and SmartSun Dual Plan 549 give Filipinos the best value for their hard earned money,” said Smart Mobile Marketing Head Guido Zaballero. “If our combined subscriber bases already like what we’re offering, they’re going to love the other services we have in store for the future,” he added.

The combined infrastructure of Smart and Sun allows even more Filipinos to benefit from the P67.1 billion network modernization program of the PLDT group.
