LG is now highlighting its presence in the tablet category with its first tablet under the high-end LG G Series – the LG G PAD 8.3. It is set to hit Philippine stores next week (last week of November 2013).

CNet referred to the LG G Pad with a “zippy performance, expandable memory, and crystal-clear screen” while Stuff Magazine called it an “unexpected gadget champ”.

Shortly after the the reveal of the much-awarded smartphone LG G2, theLG G Pad 8.3 was immediately well-received by the global market earning praises from the Android Central review for its speed an power.

Display andDesign

Equipped with an 8.3-inch Full HD IPS Display, it lets the user indulge in sharp and clear imagery, high resolution, and true-to-life colors and details. The slim 126.5mm width-bezel emphasizes its huge and expansive screen. It also has a dual rear speakers on the back for enhanced volume and sound quality.

Performance and Intuitive UX

LG G Pad 8.3‘s speed is made possible by the advanced 1.7 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon Processor, specifically designed for multitasking efficiency. It has WiFi and is supported by a 4,600 mAh battery.

In addition to LG G2 features such as QSlideSlide AsideQuickRemote, and KnockON, the G Pad has fresh features such as Life Square and Guest ModeLife Square creates an integrated journal through a single click of photos, texts, videos, calendar events, Facebook posts, and tweets. Guest Mode this time, has the Multi-User Function, which allows eight different people to use the G Pad through different codes which gain access to their own private and personalized apps.

Moreover, the QPair enables the LG G Pad 8.3 to connect and sync Android devices to itself with Bluetooth technology. The G Pad can alert the user when he receives a call or message on his paired smartphone; the user can even reply directly on the G Pad. With the same connection, the G Pad can also receive pop-up alerts of the most recent apps used on the paired smartphone. Furthermore, the G Pad can acquire Internet via Phone, transfer QuickMemo notes from itself to the phone, and even stream music and videos wirelessly to a TV or other devices through SmartShare.
