The success of the recently concluded Internet of Things Philippines Summit 2018 held at SM Megamall‘s Megatrade Hall 3 can be attributed to the thousands of participants and tech enthusiast who attended the event.
The 3rd IoT Summit highlighted the digital transformation taking place across the industry and allowed attendees to learn from pioneering leaders in the field of IoT.
At the same time, the exhibition showcased best practices and benchmark within the area of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Industrial IoT, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Data Privacy and Security, among others.
Pre-Event Workshop & Hackathon
A pre-event workshop and hackathan was actually held accommodating students and enthusiast in developing the craft.
Participants were exposed to ‘machine learning‘, advance electronics, and creating their own Sumobot with advance features.
Conference & Exhibition
In the exhibition, different companies showcased their products and services in the area of Smart home, Robotics, Financial institution, Cyber Security and other future software and hardware.
Additionally, the 2-day conference tackled some of the trends in the world of Internet of Things. Empowering the IoT ecosystem were discussed consisting of hardware, software and cloud products and its impact on businesses for technology & business decision makers to evaluate IoT & the impact on their businesses.

Overall, the activities were meant to train the makers through IoT bootcamp & hackathons and to prepare the start-up community for 2020, where most devices will be connected to the internet.
